Cons Somewhat expensive at full price; wasn't included in their recent 25% off sale :-( The Bottom Line Pamper your dry skin today with this The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter . Not only does it moisturize, but it smells heavenly, too! Full Review Back in May, I received a small 7 ounce container of this The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter as a special gift from a friend and fell in love with it the very first time I tried/smelled it! Of course there are many other Body Butter scents to choose from, but lately I've been on a coconut kick (maybe because it's summer time and the smell reminds me of the beach!). I then ordered a full sized tub (along with the matching shower scrub in the same scent) almost immediately to have when my original container was gone. It did last a few weeks of almost daily use, but now I've moved on to the larger size and can't be happier with it. For not only does it effectively moisturize problem areas like elbows, knees, etc., but that addictive coconut scent is perfect for the warm weather months. Read on to find out more about this luxurious and moisturizing skin care product I plan on using all summer long. ~~~The Skin Care Product~~~ This The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter is a very thick body lotion that actually does have the consistency of real butter. According to product advertising: Spread it on! We have created a whole range of pampering Body Butters, using an array of sumptuous natural ingredients. Thirsty skin will soak up and savour the ultra moisturisation this range provides. Great for everyday moisturizer or as a quick fix for dry skin. Skin feels soft, smooth and moisturized and lightly scented with a refreshing fragrance inspired by exotic coconut. Contains community traded shea butter and coca beans from Ghana. This particular body butter itself is light beige in color and smells almost exactly like a bottle of suntan lotion. Since it's so concentrated, all it takes is a small amount to cover areas of the body in need of extra moisture. So be careful not to apply too generously as it can feel a bit greasy sitting on the skin if too much is placed in one spot. But if coconut is not your thing, there are several other body butter scents to choose from, including blueberry, olive, sesame, shea, grapeseed, mango, nut, cocoa butter, and papaya . I may finally try one of these other scents once summer is over, but for now I continue to be totally addicted to this The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter as the coconut scent makes me wish I were at the beach or in the pool every time I use it. ~~~Packaging, Price, & Availability~~~ I purchased my 200 ml (196g) plastic round brown tub of this The Body Shop Body Butter from an At Home consultant, friend, and Epinions member chrisceb for $16.00. The smaller 50 ml (50g) sells for $7 at full price, which is more of a trial size for those who aren't ready to buy the regular size right off the bat. This body moisturizer for very dry skin is packaged in a dark brown round container about four inches in diameter and has a picture of the inside of a coconut on the outside of the large lid. The tropical like scent is very long lasting and will hang around much longer than most typical scented body lotions will. In fact, sometimes if I smell my arm coming home from work late at night, the coconut scent is still there!
