I live in Asia, but I travel all the time. I find the texture, tone and age of my skin has improved. I am 32 and my skin age is about 24. Pores are also reduced ( if you use the Pore Refiner) and do not need to go for a facial as often. The most important BASIC item that should get FIRST is the Facial Treatment Essence aka the Miracle Water ( little bit less than USD 80). Next is the mask (about USD 60 for a box of 6). Used every 2 weeks ideally but its up to you. This has more % of the pitera (the magic ingredient), sort of a major help for your skin. I also love the : 1) Facial Clear Solution - a moisturiser which seriously controls the oil shine on the face. ( I wear heavy make up). 2) Facial Lift Emulsion - a regular moisturiser for non work days. I usually get compliments or query about what do I use when I go out. Somehow my face has an added lusture. 3) Facial Treatment Cleanser - feels really luxurious and cleans make up well. 4) Pore Refiner - seriously, I need less facials. I normally go every 2-3 weeks for a Dermalogica Facial but ever since I do them once a month and even then basically as pampering session. 5) Advance Signs Treatment - I use as a night cream or double duty as a regular moisturiser in winter countries. No oily feeling either when I wake up in hot/humid countries. Pro: - less steps or boosters compared to Dermalogica. - packaging does not spill when I travel. - IMPROVEMENT seen within a month. Con: - price $$$$. If I can fully afford all the range I would get it.. I use to use Dermalogica and have since switched. SK II does a 3-piece starter kit (about USD 30) too. Best start with that and the Miracle Water.. because some skin aren't compatible and some people do develope allergies to the product. It's available also in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. Let me tell you: it really works. I have always had pretty good skin - no acne, few wrinkles - but I tended to get spots around the chin and always felt tightness. Since using SK II my skin is absolutely clear, never feels tight or dry, and never flakes. I use the Facial Treatment Cleanser, Facial Treatment Clear Lotion, Facial Treatment Essence, and Facial Lift Emulsion. They are a Hong Kong based company, but ship all over the world. You get free shipping to the US if you spend over $75. The great thing about this site is that they are completely trustworthy, professional, and much much cheaper than Saks. Plus they give free samples all the time. The only drawback is that you get the actual Japanese product - all the instructions are in Japanese!!!! I spend about $250 on SKII every 3 months or so. I am 27 years old, and get carded for cigarettes every time I buy it. I justify the cost, by thinking about all the money I'll save down the road by not needing a face lift or a chemical peel.
