Tea Tree Oil and Green Tea are the most effective treatments. Almost everyone has had a battle with acne, whether it was only a minor break-out during Senior Finals or a chronic condition that lasts for years. Many quick and effective treatments are available with a prescription, but these medicines often contain strong chemicals which cause side effects. This is difficult for those who need to use prescription acne medication on a long-term basis. As a result, more and more acne sufferers are turning to herbal remedies as an alternative to conventional acne treatments. There are many herbal formulas on the market; one can choose the most appropriate treatment based on personal preference and the cause of the acne. Zenmed uses lavender, which is an excellent astringent and skin conditioner. Lavender also has a pungent yet relaxing fragrance, and it is often touted by aromatherapists for its effectiveness in relieving stress, a major contributor to chronic acne.
